-My cousin Scott got married in D.C. and we drove out for their beautiful reception in a state park pavilion. I loved catching up with some of my west coast family!
Paul made up a game where they took turns drawing one part of a picture until it became something awesome. It was hilarious!

| The best cousins in the world! |
-One rainy day the boys were jumping in puddles during Jenna's piano lesson. Gavin had a little too much fun, so I had to take off his muddy shoes and pants when we went to the library. It didn't bother me that he was wearing just a shirt and diaper, but I thought it was funny that every single older person stopped to say some form of "I wish I could run around in a diaper all day!".
Halloween
-Gavin was the only one of the three willing to reach in and pull out the pumpkin guts. Then we roasted the seeds for the first time - delicious!
-Jenna was adamant about not carving her pumpkin so that it would last longer. It turned out pretty cute:
-I don't have a good excuse, but I wasn't really feeling the whole costume thing this year. We just used whatever we had already in our dress-up. Jenna and Liam's costumes were both probably too small, but they loved them and had a great time so it was a win in my book!
-The best part of Halloween was that Grandma King came to visit! We played, trick-or-treated, then on Sunday Jenna gave a talk and Grandma helped us with our family pictures.
A perfect end to the month.
