The Cutest Thing...

Yesterday, Paul and I babysat Kaden for Andrea and Spencer's anniversary. It was a lot of fun (thank goodness both of us were home - I'm not ready for twins!)
We were playing with both of the babies on the floor, and Jenna started getting upset. Kaden took notice and starting crawling toward her. I got ready, because I fully expected him to grab at her head or sit on her. Instead, her went right up to Jenna, gave her a kiss on the head, and went back to his toys. It was so cute! I love these kids:

So, Jenna loves to hear her own voice! She gabs on forever - mostly right after naps. Her favorite sounds are high-pitched screams and dadadada.

Paul: Jenna, say DaDa!
Jenna: dada
Kali: Jenna, who do you want to change your diaper?
Jenna: dada

We're loving it!

Tall & Skinny

Today at the doctor we confirmed that Jenna is indeed a tall, skinny little girl:

25.5 inches - 12 lbs. 15 oz.

88th percentile for height - 38th percentile for weight!

She got two shots in each of her legs. Oh man, did she scream! But, she pretty much calmed down as soon as she got her book.

The battle wounds! Bugs Bunny has never looked so vicious...

Feet = Fun!

Jenna has recently found her feet, and is loving it! At first she just looked at them wiggle around. Now, she likes to kick everything, clap them together and hold on to her toes. She has also discovered that she can use them as a second pair of hands while playing with toys! And, hey, it's made diaper changes that much funner!

Kali: Wow, should a person be able to do that with their feet?

Paul: Sure! See, I can do it, too!

4 Months Old!

Yay! Jenna is 4 months old!

She is learning how to sit. So cute!

Haha. Paul didn't know I got him, too!

Look who we found playing on the computer! She truly is her father's daughter!

I can't believe how fast our little girl is growing up! We are loving every minute!
She is babbling and blowing bubbles all the time and inch-worming her way around the house. She has been able to roll from her tummy to her back for quite a while now, but just yesterday she rolled from her back to her tummy! Hooray!
We also finally got a good vacuum cleaner, so I'm not afraid to let children play on our floor now!

4th of July, 2008

I'm sad to say that Jenna's first fourth of July was firework-less. Paul had to work all day for Stadium of Fire, so Jenna and I spent the day dad-less as well :(.
We dressed in Red, White and Blue! We took a long walk - Jenna really likes those - and spent most of the day hanging out with Spencer, Andrea and Little Foot (Kaden). The babies are actually starting to care about each other now, and it's really cute when they "talk". Just as long as Jenna isn't in Kaden's path when he wants something - he'll bulldoze right over anything! And fast too!
Lately, Jenna has finally showed interest in her toys! Now, she gets excited when she sees them, grabs them, and proceeds to shove them into her mouth. But, it doesn't take long for her to get frustrated - either because she doesn't like that something is in her mouth, or she isn't coordinated enough to do what she wants, I dunno! But she screams until I can distract her with another toy. Oh what fun!
