A great big thanks to Paul's Dad for the
awesome suite at the Hilton right on the strip!
Here are our
Vegas Vacation Top 12 Highlights:
12. Our traditional book on CD for the drive:
Ender's Game. We started it as soon as we pulled out of our driveway, and it finished on our street on the way back! Is that
perfect or what?!
11. Our
hotel room.
Wow. I think Paul got annoyed at how I kept saying I wish I could live there! You can check out pictures
here. My favorite part was the shower with
four shower heads that massaged your whole body! Jenna loved to look out the window - we were so high up that my ears literally
POPPED on the way up the elevator!

10. Walking down the
ENTIRE strip! That's right, I've got the
blisters to prove it!
Jenna, on the other hand, got to take it easy the whole time!
That's the Trump Tower in the background!
Paris!
Lots of cool-looking fountains
The gardens at Caesar's
Jenna pooped out way before we did! 9. Jenna waved at
everyone she saw, and absolutely
NOONE waved back! Not even the grandmas! It made us sad, and made Paul miss the Southern hospitality even more...
8. The
Bellagio Fountain. A must-see on the strip.

7.
Giant Fish at Caesar's Forum.

Jenna loved watching them swim around 6. We only did one
buffet, but it was
BIG... and
GOOD!... and
expensive (
where are all those $.99 buffets you see in the movies???)
5. Unfortunately, it rained on Saturday when we were planning on taking Jenna swimming, so instead we just went
swimming in the Tub!

4.
Panera! My absolute FAVORITE place to eat. There are not many in the west, so I HAD to find one while we were there! I've decided that when I'm old I'm going to start a book club, and we're going to meet at Panera every week!
Yum...3.
M&M World! Come on, Need I say more...?

Polishing Jenna's "outer candy shell"
Hahaha! The M&M is writing "I will not melt in the hand"
Paul liked the M&M Racecar
We got Jenna an M&M straw cup and she had so much fun with it! 2. Our livingroom
TV was
Possessed! Seriously. It kept turning itself on! The first time it happened, we thought maybe the maid was watching the TV and left it on, but then it happened several times while Jenna was sleeping! We finally
unplugged the sucker. If it had turned on after that, we would have been switching rooms!
1.
Relaxing! We watched a movie from the tub (
Paul's request), I kicked butt at pool (
because of a slight technicality in my favor) and we lounged around the rest of the time. It was great to just spend time together and not have to worry about work or cleaning the house!
P.S. Today Jenna turns 11 months old! I can't believe I almost have a 1-year old!
Yes, that is a 3-6 month size sleeper.
I'm living every mom's fantasy: my baby stayed little and cuddly!
