november

Jenna and Liam transitioned to their new school very well! They're both great at making new friends, and it didn't hurt that the kids here were all super excited to meet them. We toured the school before sending them to class on their first day, and when I dropped off Jenna her whole class shouted "Jenna!" and then fought over who got to sit next to her for the rest of the week.
Since the Kindergarten cut-off is later in Virginia than most states, Liam is by far the youngest in his new class. But he fit right in and is doing awesome!

Jenna and I are both really excited that she gets to play the violin. She caught up to (and passed up) the other students very quickly because of her 3 years of piano.

We still don't have any living room furniture.

Paul's office had a trolley in the Penn State homecoming parade, so we got to ride and throw out candy. The kids loved it!

We had a simple Thanksgiving with just us, then immediately ran out to get our Christmas tree! Since our basement stays so cool, the tree looked brand new all the way until we finally threw it out in March!

After their cute holiday concert at school

I love these boys!
