We finally got some snow! Jenna was so excited when she saw the wonderland outside her window! She immediately asked to go out and play, and put her coat and gloves on over her PJ's.
She tried so hard to make snowballs and a snowman, but it wasn't sticky enough. She was pretty content to just run through it, though!
She played so long that we were late to Joy School. It was worth it to see her having so much fun!
It's all gone now, but I hope it snows at least one more time, because she asks every day if we can go sledding!

4 months
Liam's 4 month stats:
16 lbs. 12 oz.
25.5 in.
At only four months Liam weighs more than Jenna did at 12 months, and is comfortably wearing 6-9 month clothes! He's such a little chubster!
legs rolls!
arm rolls!
A typical conversation with Liam goes something like this: First you are greeted with a big smile, followed by some "goo"s and a couple of fake coughs. He'll then show off his impressive vocal range, pause to watch his hand for a minute, speaks cave-man for a while, and pauses again to chew on his thumb.
Throughout the conversation, he has kicked, wiggled, and arched his back so much that he is now 4 feet away, facing the other direction :)
And the moment you put anything within his reach, he's grabbing it with a super serious look on his face and trying to eat it!
He used to be such a great sleeper, but lately he has been fighting sleep so hard. And he thinks that 2am is an acceptable bed time. It is not. This sleepy mama has checked out the Healthy Sleep Habits book from the library. Hopefully that has some good advice!
Whenever Paul changes Liam's diaper, he puts his pants on his head while the job gets done, like so:
He's so used to this that every time I pull off his pants, he anticipates his little hat with a squint and a smile :)
Liam likes to hold my hand while he naps... And I am more than happy to oblige! :)
He is a great cuddler. I actually didn't realize how great until we were at a party recently. A friend of mine took Liam and wouldn't give him back the rest of the night. Apparently her five kids were never this calm and cuddly, and she was loving it! He curls right up to you and lays his head on your chest. And when you set him up on your lap, he just looks around and plays with your fingers. I know he'll probably grow out of this stage soon, so I'm soaking it in!
The doctor says he is ready for solids now. We'll probably try at five months, but isn't he so cute in his little chair:
He's such a happy little guy!
Eyes are still blue, but darker than Paul's so I worry they won't stay
Hanging out with his cute little girlfriend, Harper!
Still loving each other :)

resolutions
I have made 4 resolutions for 2013. I know - I'm so ambitious ;)
1. Read 25 books. Or more. Holy cow, this has been my goal for three years now - I gotta get it done!
But not just quick filler books. Books I actually want to read.
2. Learn to sew. something. anything.
3. Pre-pregnancy size! I don't really care what I weigh, but I gotta get back in to my pre-Liam pants! It took me about two weeks after Jenna to wear all my old clothes. Liam is 4 months and I'm still not there. Depressing.
So, how do I plan on accomplishing this goal? I dunno, cross my fingers and hope really hard...? That'll work, right? :)
4. Buy new bedding for Paul and myself. Now, I know this sounds super easy and quick. Just go to the store and get one, right?
Wrong! While I consider myself a pretty normal girl, I do not enjoy shopping very much. It gives me anxiety because A) spending money stresses me out and B) there are sooo many stores out there! I don't even know where to start! and C) I'm super picky.
Let me give you an example: Paul and I are doing traditional anniversary gifts, and I was supposed to pick out a new purse (leather) for our third anniversary (we just celebrated our sixth...). Flash forward to today, and I am still carrying around my little purse from high school...
So, this is a good resolution for me! Suggestions are welcome.

Baby's first Christmas
We had a wonderful Christmas this year! We got all of Paul's side of the family together for the blessings of two of the four baby boys born this year.
Jenna was so excited to see her cousins, and didn't even mind being the only girl with 7 boys!
The 7 hour drive turned in to a 9 to 10 hour drive, but we only had to stop 3 times and I climbed into the back seat twice. We enjoyed great weather and Jenna didn't get sick, so I'd say it was a successful trip!
Liam got a nasty cough that worried me a bit while we were there, but I don't think he gave it to anyone else and was mostly better by the time we left. We were able to relax and play and make some great memories!
But let's get to the good stuff: pictures of the cute babies!
Nathanael and Liam were born in September, 9 days apart:
Then Kedric and Nolan came in November, 5 days apart:
It was so fun to be around these four adorable little boys! They're all so different, yet so loved!
And then Nick used his mad skills to get a pic of everyone (in all our Christmas morning glory):
