Gavin's 2nd

This cool kid turned 2!

We spent his birthday at the Discovery Museum

And then Jenna and Liam really wanted to help make his cake, so Liam dug out the hole and Jenna put the decorations on. Gavin loved it.

He got a transformer, legos, vtech track, and Iron Man gloves!

All about our newest two year-old:

-He is EXTREMELY persistent and not easily distracted, which leads to lots and lots of tantrums. Seriously, he has more tantrums in a week than Jenna and Liam have had ever, combined. It is teaching Paul and I to be very patient.

-But even through all the screaming, it's impossible to stay mad at him. He has to most adorable mischievous smile, and he's so sweet and cuddly (when he's not transformed into the hulk).

-When he's really excited about something, he shouts "yay" as he runs toward it with his arms straight up in the air. Like E.T. hahaha!

-He knows all his letters, and loves to point them out on shirts, signs, and books.

-His favorite color is red. Everything must be red. And everything red is his.

-He sometimes remembers to say "please", but he always always says "thank you"! Even if he is crying or in the middle of a tantrum, if you hand him something he will say "thank you".

-He loves to wear shoes. As soon as he wakes up in the morning he wants his shoes on. I think it's so he will always be ready to go outside as soon as the opportunity presents.

He's funny, smart, a daredevil and a mama's boy. We sure love him!
