While Paul and I were at the Secondhand Serenade concert - which was fantastic, by the way! - we noticed that most of the high-school-aged kids were decked out in 80's fashions. High top shoes, bright neons, etc.
Is this just a Utah thing, or are the 80's back?!?
Paul: Doesn't it usually take 20-30 years for fashions to come back?
Kali: Sweetie, it's almost 2010. It's been 20-30 years since the 80's...

I know, we really are getting old. And yes, 80s are definitely back. Last year when I was in San Francisco, there was a teen store filled with nothing but 80s fashion. I was looking at one of those ugly, neon, nylon jackets and thinking--didn't I just donate this to DI?
